AI FORUM SPRING EVENT 2023 – AI and LAW ENFORCEMENT
AI Forum Spring Event 2023 – at The National University of Public Service, Ludovika -Budapest
On April 21st 2023, the AI Forum Hungary hosted their spring event in Budapest which focused on Artificial Intelligence and Law Enforcement. The event was conducted as a workshop hosted at the National University of Public Service, Ludovika – Budapest. Once again we had returning guest speakers, Mr Andrew Dolan (UK) and Mr Richard Hoskins (USA).
The workshop began with Mr Andrew Dolan, who gave an introduction and overview of the surrounding topics which Mr Hoskins explored in further detail.
Following the introduction, Mr Hoskins lead a presentation on the use of AI Controlled robots and an overreliance on AI.
Once presentations had finished, the floor was opened to a Q&A session, where attendees could bring their thoughts and questions to our guest speakers. We were lucky to have a very engaging audience who made good use of the opportunity to ask experts in the field. Discussions continued long after the presentations had finished, with all attendees having great questions and constructive input, which made the workshop incredibly valuable for both speakers and guests.
Concluding the workshop, we are happy to announce two important pieces of information. Firstly, Mr Andrew Dolan has been made a Ludovika Fellow at the University of Public Service – Budapest. He will be lecturing on AI and can be approached about any further AI activity going forward.
Secondly, the AI Forum are delighted to announce that a research cluster – AI Forum Cluster #1 – has been created and will be looking to build and expand its reach.
Once again, we would like to thank everyone that was involved, and hope to see you all at the next AI Forum Hungary event.
Keep in touch!
